There’s a donut shop 

Around the corner, open twenty four hours

Took a number, spicy chicken, 

Side of french fries and bad decisions

They took the Chinese off the menu 

Heard it was a health issue

Don’t know if it’s true 

But I know what is true 

They say:

“you don’t know what you have until it’s gone”

Those were the good old days,

but I knew it all along 

And it rained

Every damn day 

And I wished them all away 

All those good old days
